The Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead museum is a Nationally designated historic site, and perfect location for your special day celebrations! Built in 1831, it is the birthplace and childhood home of Adelaide Hunter Hoodless. Adelaide is a woman of Canadian historical significance. It is now a heritage museum and site that provides life enhancing experiences to the community.
Site Description
This charming location could be the ideal spot for your wedding. We have 3 acres of lovely outdoor space perfect for a rustic setting while our covered pavilion seats up to 60 guests. You’ll find free parking on-site and two washrooms: one outside and one inside. There’s also a kitchen with a fridge and oven for your caterers to use. Plus, we have a cozy room for the bride to prepare and a wonderful backdrop for your special day photos.
