Brant County Heroes that Changed the World

Although Brant County is a relatively unrecognised community in Southern Ontario, it boasts a rich heritage spanning centuries and cultures. Brant County Heroes that Changed the World explores the contributions of five of the County’s shining stars. From the creation of the Group of Seven to the invention of the telephone, the Grand River has inspired and fascinated for generations. The region has influenced individuals to fight for what they believe in from better education for rural women to preserving the indigenous culture. Brant County continues to inspire Great Ones today.

Our Brant County exhibit is set up in the historic dining room.
