Senior Program

We offer a selection of seniors programs for varying abilities with the additional option of an afternoon tea after the program.

Adelaide’s Dream: It Takes a Village

Participants will explore the birthplace of the co-founder of the Women’s Institute, engage in discussions on women’s history, the roles the Lee Family, Adelaide, and the local community played in the creation and development of the WI, as well as what purpose the WI serves from its 1897 inception to the present. Participants will explore the historic house and grounds through creative hands-on activities and artefact handling that may bring back some of their own childhood memories that are similar to the Hunter family’s.
