Easter at Addie’s

Easter Egg hunt, a petting zoo, and the Easter Bunny too!

All this and more can be found at our annual Easter at Addie’s Egg Hunt & Petting Zoo!

This year we are celebrating our 5th anniversary, and we’re planning our biggest year yet!

Join us Good Friday April 14th, 2017 at the Homestead from 10AM to 1PM. There will be baby chicks, goats and bunnies from Pilkington Acres. Children of all ages can feed ponies from Circle Square Ranch.

The Easter Bunny will be making an early visit as children hunt for egg treats during four flights at 10:30, 10:55 11:20, and 11:45AM (all ages).

Find the event on Facebook HERE

Other activities will include Victorian inspired games and crafts, face painting & balloon artists, vendors, and a silent auction/raffle table for children and adults. Back by popular demand, the Paris Optimists will host cookie decorating for children.

There is a nominal fee of $20/family (includes up to four children), and some activities are by donation to participate. The Homestead will accept cash or cheque at the door.

Check out some pictures from last year’s snowy Egg Hunt!

All net proceeds will help support programming for children, youth and adults, as the Homestead transitions into a living museum. Funds also support the maintenance of this heritage site, which celebrates the childhood home of one of Canada’s most eminent citizens – Adelaide Hunter Hoodless.
