The Adelaide Hoodless Homestead has been owned and operated by the Federated Women’s Institute of Canada (FWIC) since 1959.
Our mission is to enhance the lives of individuals, their families and their communities by promoting the ideals of Adelaide Hunter Hoodless’ through learning and experiential opportunities.
Our mandate is to preserve, protect and interpret the story of Adelaide, the Hunter family and the rural domestic experience of the 19th century.
